DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026: David Guetta is No.1 again. See the full ranking, biggest debuts, records, climbers and key changes of the year.

DJ Mag has revealed the results of the Top 100 DJs 2026 — its annual global ranking based on an open vote by electronic music fans from around the world. David Guetta has been named the world’s No.1 DJ for the second year in a row. It is the French producer’s sixth victory — an all-time record in the history of the ranking.

The results were announced on the night of 6–7 October during Top 100 DJs LIVE at [UNVRS] in Ibiza. In 2026, DJ Mag reported a record number of votes, with electronic music fans from 234 countries and territories taking part.

Unlike expert or editorial rankings, the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll is determined directly by the audience. There is no pre-selected list of nominees: each voter can independently choose five DJs.

David Guetta becomes the world’s No.1 DJ for the sixth time

David Guetta retained the top spot. The French artist previously won in 2011, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025. His 2026 victory is his sixth overall, making him the sole record holder for the most No.1 finishes in Top 100 DJs history.

Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren each have five victories and now share second place on the all-time list for the most No.1 finishes.

2026 has once again been a busy year for Guetta. He continued developing the Future Rave sound with MORTEN, introduced new projects and collaborations, and maintained a huge international touring audience. Fifteen years after his first Top 100 DJs victory, the French producer remains at the top of the global vote.

Martin Garrix finishes second for the second consecutive year. One of the biggest moves inside the Top 10 came from Anyma, who climbed seven places from No.10 to No.3.

Armin van Buuren, ranked seventh, retained the title of World's No.1 Trance DJ, while ninth-placed FISHER was once again named World's No.1 House DJ.

Josh Baker is the highest new entry in Top 100 DJs 2026

The year’s highest debut came from British DJ and producer Josh Baker. He entered the main Top 100 for the first time at No.40 and received the Highest New Entry award.

Just one year earlier, Josh Baker was outside the Top 100 at No.143 in the extended Next 50 list. Over the past season, his international audience has grown significantly thanks to the continued development of You&Me, the Baker's Dozen series, performances at major clubs and an active festival season.

Mahmut Orhan also made a strong debut, with the Turkish producer entering directly at No.42.

New names in Top 100 DJs 2026

The 2026 ranking features several artists who were not part of the main Top 100 a year earlier. Alongside Josh Baker and Mahmut Orhan, the Top 100 welcomes Ben Nicky, Joseph Capriati, Wade, Shimza, Padre Guilherme, Sonny Fodera, Cloonee, Prospa, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and KI/KI.

One of the most unusual entries is Padre Guilherme at No.79. The Portuguese Catholic priest also maintains an international DJ career and has gained widespread recognition through large-scale performances and sets built around melodic techno and progressive sounds.

American producer ILLENIUM also returned to the ranking, re-entering directly at No.30. Mosimann returned at No.85, while MATTN re-entered at No.92.

John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY — Highest Climbers

In 2026, the Highest Climber title was shared by three artists. John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY each climbed exactly 22 places.

John Summit moved from No.46 to No.24, Mau P from No.77 to No.55, and CHRIS STASSY from No.81 to No.59.

Fred again.. also made major progress, rising 17 places to No.16. The Martinez Brothers climbed 15 positions to No.28, while GORDO rose 18 places to No.50.

Korolova and Miss Monique climb 14 places

Two Ukrainian representatives of the international electronic music scene delivered particularly strong results. Korolova climbed from No.50 to No.36, while Miss Monique moved from No.75 to No.61. Both improved their previous results by 14 places.

For the Ukrainian electronic music scene, this is an especially notable result: both artists not only maintained their places in the global Top 100, but significantly strengthened their positions.

The biggest fallers

Alongside the rise of newer house artists and representatives of the contemporary club scene, several established names fell significantly in the ranking.

The biggest decline among artists who remained in the Top 100 came from Vini Vici, who dropped from No.32 to No.71 — a fall of 39 places.

Quintino lost 29 positions and finished at No.76, Above & Beyond fell 26 places to No.87, while Eric Prydz dropped 25 positions to No.62.

Hardwell also fell noticeably, moving from No.15 in 2025 to No.29 in 2026.

Top 10 most-mentioned DJs in the Minatrix.FM encyclopedia

The DJ Mag ranking reflects the results of an annual audience vote, but an artist’s popularity and influence can also be viewed from another perspective. Minatrix.FM analysed the internal links within its own music encyclopedia and identified the electronic artists whose names appear most frequently in the biographies of other musicians.

This is not a vote and not a subjective ranking of the best DJs. The number of mentions shows how often an artist appears in the stories of other performers through collaborations, remixes, labels, festivals, influence on the scene and other professional connections.

  1. Tiësto — 43 mentions
  2. David Guetta — 42 mentions
  3. Armin van Buuren — 27 mentions
  4. Hardwell — 27 mentions
  5. Daft Punk — 24 mentions
  6. Afrojack — 23 mentions
  7. Skrillex — 20 mentions
  8. Steve Aoki — 18 mentions
  9. Martin Garrix — 17 mentions
  10. Calvin Harris — 17 mentions

Interestingly, the Minatrix.FM encyclopedia statistics overlap quite closely with the DJ Mag results. Of the ten most-mentioned electronic artists on Minatrix.FM, nine are still actively performing — and all nine are not only included in the Top 100 DJs 2026, but are ranked inside the Top 29.

The only name from this Top 10 that does not appear in the current DJ Mag Top 100 is Daft Punk. The duo ended their work together, but still rank fifth by number of mentions in the Minatrix.FM encyclopedia. In this case, the statistics reflect not current touring popularity, but the project’s long-term influence on electronic music and other artists.

House and the club scene strengthen their positions

One of the most noticeable trends in the 2026 ranking is the rise of artists associated with house and tech house. John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY jointly received the Highest Climber distinction, while Josh Baker became the highest new entry.

Cloonee, Prospa, Sonny Fodera, Wade and Mahmut Orhan all entered the Top 100 for the first time. However, the changes are not limited to the house scene: the ranking also welcomed representatives of Afro house and Afro-tech, harder club styles, trance and more experimental areas of electronic music.

At the same time, several artists who were ranked considerably higher only recently lost dozens of positions. Top 100 DJs 2026 shows a significant renewal of the middle and lower sections of the ranking, while the very top remains comparatively stable.

What is DJ Mag Top 100 DJs?

Top 100 DJs began in 1993 as an editorial list published by DJ Magazine. It was later transformed into an international public vote and gradually became one of the best-known annual rankings in electronic music.

There is no closed list of nominees and no minimum popularity requirement. Each participant can vote for five DJs, meaning the final ranking primarily reflects the support of the global audience.

In 2026, listeners from 234 countries and territories took part, while DJ Mag reported the highest number of votes in the history of the poll.

Who won last year?

In the Top 100 DJs 2025, first place also went to David Guetta. At the time, the French producer drew level with Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, with each artist holding five No.1 titles.

One year later, David Guetta retained the top position and became the first artist in the history of the poll to win Top 100 DJs six times.

The composition of the Top 3 changed, however: Martin Garrix remained second, while Anyma climbed directly from tenth to third place, pushing Alok down to fourth.
