NK (Nastya Kamenskykh), full name Anastasia Oleksiivna Kamenskykh (born May 4, 1987, in Kyiv), is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, television presenter and music producer. She gained widespread fame as a member of the duo «Potap and Nastya», which was formed in 2006 and released such hits as «Не пара», «На раЁне», «Чумачечая весна», «Если вдруг», «Всё пучком», «Уди Уди» and «Умамы». Since 2017, Kamenskykh has developed her solo project NK, combining pop music, R&B, dance-pop and Latin pop. The international stage of her career is associated with the songs «Peligroso», «Elefante» and the Spanish-language project «Ecléctica».
Childhood and family
Anastasia Kamenskykh was born into a musical family. Her mother, Lidiya Kamenskykh, was a singer with the Hryhoriy Veryovka National Academic Folk Choir of Ukraine, while her father, Oleksii Zhmur, was involved in sports at different stages of his life and also worked as concert director for the same ensemble. Anastasia uses her mother’s surname, Kamenskykh, as her stage surname.
As a child, she took part in international exchange programs. At the age of five, she lived in France for a period of time and later spent several years studying and living in Italy, mainly in Naples. This allowed her to learn Italian at an early age and gain experience of living in several different cultural environments.
Kamenskykh studied music and dance: she learned piano, graduated from music school and spent around eight years studying ballet. After finishing school, she entered the Ukrainian-American Liberal Arts Institute «Wisconsin International University (USA) in Ukraine», where she studied foreign economic activity, with classes taught in English. Even while studying, active concert work began to take up an increasing amount of her time.
First performances
Kamenskykh’s professional music career began before she met Potap. In 2004, she performed at the «Black Sea Games» festival, where she won the Grand Prix. In 2005, she received the UBN Awards «Discovery of the Year» prize in London. During this period, she worked with the Music-Motors production center and recorded solo material. One of her earliest songs was «Какая разница», for which one of her first solo music videos was filmed.
Formation of the duo «Potap and Nastya»
In 2006, Kamenskykh began working with rapper and producer Potap (Oleksii Potapenko). One of their first collaborations was the song «Без любви». Soon afterward, the collaboration developed into the permanent duo «Potap and Nastya».
The project was built around the contrast between the two performers: Potap’s recitative and humorous delivery and Kamenskykh’s melodic vocals. Their music combined pop, R&B, elements of hip-hop and deliberately ironic lyrics. Within just a few years, the duo became one of the most popular Russian-language pop projects in Ukraine.
In 2007, «Potap and Nastya» won the «Five Stars» competition in Sochi, and in March 2008 they released their debut album «Не пара». It included «Не пара», «Крепкие орешки», «Почему», «В натуре», «Разгуляй» and other songs.
Peak of the duo’s popularity
The second album, «Не люби мне мозги», was released in 2009. This period produced songs such as «Не люби мне мозги», «На раЁне», «Новый год», «Чипсы, чиксы, лавандос» and others.
The early 2010s were especially successful for the duo. In 2011, they released «Чумачечая весна», which became one of their signature hits. It was followed by «Если вдруг», «Мы отменяем К.С.», «Прилелето», «Улелето», «РуРуРу» and «Вместе».
These songs formed the basis of their third album, «Всё пучком», released in 2013. The title track also became a major radio hit and received a Golden Gramophone award.
In 2015, the double project «Щит и Мяч» was released. The duo’s later period included «Уди Уди», «Бумдиггибай», «Стиль собачки» with Bianca, «Умамы» and «Я……Я». In 2016, the anniversary concert «Золотые киты — 10 лет» was held in Kyiv.
Hiatus of «Potap and Nastya»
On October 24, 2017, Potap and Nastya announced a hiatus after eleven years of working together. Both artists decided to focus on their own projects: Potap began releasing solo material as PTP, while Kamenskykh launched the new project NK.
Launch of the NK solo project
NK was officially launched in the autumn of 2017. The first single of the new period was «#этомояночь», released on November 2. The project received its own visual identity and dedicated team, while the artist’s management was handled by her own company, Nice2CU.
In December, the Christmas music project «Xmas with NK» was released. It featured Ukrainian, English, Russian and Italian Christmas songs, including «Добрий вечір тобі, пане господарю», «Щедрик», «Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas», «Notte Stellata» and «Last Christmas». A television concert film of the same name was produced at the same time.
No Komments
On October 11, 2018, NK released her first major album of original solo material, «No Komments». The album contained ten songs in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Among the best known were «#этомояночь», «Дай мне», «LOMALA», «Тримай» and «Попа как у Ким».
The Ukrainian-language «Тримай» became one of the main lyrical songs of Kamenskykh’s solo period. In contrast, «LOMALA» and «Попа как у Ким» were built around modern dance-pop and a striking visual image.
Peligroso and Billboard
Alongside «No Komments», NK began developing a Spanish-language direction. In 2018, she released the English-Spanish single «Peligroso», created with writers and producers who had experience in the Latin American market.
The song became the first major international achievement of her solo project: «Peligroso» reached No. 24 on Billboard Tropical Airplay and remained on the chart for several weeks. Kamenskykh became the first Ukrainian artist to enter this particular Latin-oriented Billboard chart.
As part of the song’s promotion, NK performed and gave interviews on American and Latin American television networks, including Univision and Telemundo. In March 2019, an official remix of «Peligroso» featuring Puerto Rican artist De La Ghetto was released.
Elefante and the Latin American direction
The next major Spanish-language single was «Elefante», released in 2019. The song combined reggaeton, Latin pop and NK’s characteristic dance-oriented style and became the most popular recording of her international period on streaming services.
In 2019, Kamenskykh also released the Ukrainian-language song «Обіцяю» and opened for Colombian singer Maluma at his concert in Kyiv.
Another international collaboration was «Miami», recorded with Dominican artist Atomic Otro Way and Jessy Frank. This period established the Latin American direction as an independent part of NK’s repertoire.
Ecléctica
On September 18, 2020, the Spanish-language EP «Ecléctica» was released. It contained seven tracks: «Elefante», «A Huevo», «Yea Or Nay», «Película», «No Stress», «Pura Basura» and «Ojalá».
Musically, the project was built around Latin pop, reggaeton and club-oriented electronic music. Unlike the multilingual «No Komments», the Latin American direction formed the basis of the entire release.
«Красное Вино»
On May 21, 2021, NK released her second major solo album, «Красное Вино». It contains 15 tracks and combines pop, R&B, dancehall, hip-hop and electronic dance music. Kamenskykh took part in writing most of the songs.
The album included «Красное Вино», «Обидно», «Девочки Рулят», «Ма», «ABCD», «Шаг Вправо», «Vibe», «Neon», «Loca», «Сорямба», «Если Небеса», «Почуття», «Бажай» and «Додому».
Music after the start of the full-scale war
After the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the themes of Kamenskykh’s new songs changed noticeably. In the spring, she released «Я — Україна», followed by the English-language «Back Home», dedicated to the experiences of people who were forced to leave their homes.
In August, «Коли мине війна» was released, followed in September by «Кришталь», work on which had been completed before the invasion. The song «Там у тополі» also belongs to this period. Kamenskykh performed at charity concerts in support of Ukraine and took part in international events.
In April 2022, NK took part in the opening of the Latin American Music Awards, where she joined Black Eyed Peas, Ozuna, CNCO, Prince Royce, Sofia Reyes and other artists in performing «Where Is the Love?» as part of a segment supporting Ukraine.
«Я — Україна» tour and new material
In 2023, Kamenskykh embarked on the Ukrainian charity tour «Я — Україна». Part of the income from ticket sales and related tour projects was directed toward helping Ukraine. The program combined earlier hits such as «Тримай», «Обіцяю», «Почуття» with songs written after 2022.
That same year, NK also returned to Latin American music with the Spanish-language single «Tu y Yo», recorded in the United States.
In February 2024, a live album recorded during the «Я — Україна» show at the Palace Ukraina was released. It featured new live versions of both earlier hits and songs such as «Я — Україна», «Душа» and «Коли мине війна».
In March 2024, the singer released «Не облиш мене», followed in April by the collaborative single «MOLOKO» with Atomic Otro Way.
Linda y Chula
On October 25, 2024, NK released the Spanish-language EP «Linda y Chula». The mini-album contained five tracks continuing her Latin pop and reggaeton direction. It became her first separate Spanish-language EP since «Ecléctica».
Return of «Potap and Nastya»
In the spring of 2026, the «Potap and Nastya» project made an unexpected return. On May 1, Kamenskykh and Potap publicly announced the end of their personal relationship after nearly seven years of official marriage. Several weeks later, they announced the revival of their creative duo and preparations for new joint performances.
As a result, after a nine-year hiatus, «Potap and Nastya» once again exists as a musical project, while the artists’ personal and professional relationships now develop separately.
Music in 2026
The NK solo project also continues alongside the revived duo. In June 2026, the international single «La Copa» appeared in the singer’s digital catalog. The recording also features Jamby El Favo, Dylan Fuentes and other artists.
Television
Kamenskykh has worked extensively in television. Over the years, she has appeared in entertainment programs such as «Dancing with the Stars» and «Star + Star», hosted «Karaoke Against the People» and «Guten Morgen», and worked on the project «Make the Comedian Laugh. Kids».
From 2017 to 2019, NK served as a judge on the Ukrainian version of «The X Factor». In 2020, she became a coach on the tenth season of «The Voice of Ukraine», sharing a double coach’s chair with Potap.
Kamenskykh has also appeared in films and television music projects and participated in dubbing animated films, although music remains the main focus of her professional career.
Musical style
Kamenskykh’s career can be divided into two significantly different periods. As part of «Potap and Nastya», her music was built mainly around Russian-language pop and R&B with hip-hop elements, humorous lyrics and vivid duet exchanges.
The NK solo project expanded this genre palette. «No Komments» combined dance-pop, R&B and electronic music, while «Peligroso», «Elefante», «Ecléctica» and «Linda y Chula» are oriented toward Latin pop, reggaeton and tropical pop. In Ukrainian songs such as «Тримай», «Обіцяю», «Почуття», «Я — Україна» and «Коли мине війна», the emphasis shifts toward melodic pop ballads.
Kamenskykh records music in Ukrainian, Russian, English, Spanish and Italian. Her experience of living in Italy and later working with Spanish-speaking songwriters became an important part of NK’s international positioning.
Personal life
Kamenskykh and Potap’s long-running creative partnership eventually developed into a personal relationship. On May 23, 2019, they officially married, publicly confirming for the first time a romance they had previously kept largely out of the public eye.
On May 1, 2026, the artists announced that they were no longer a couple and were ending their nearly seven-year marriage. At the same time, later that same month they resumed working together under the name «Potap and Nastya».

Her career combines two different levels of recognition — long-standing popularity in post-Soviet pop culture and an attempt to build an independent international catalog in Spanish and English.
