Tomorrowland is one of the world’s biggest electronic music festivals. In 2025, it returns with a new theme and an even more immersive experience.
Tomorrowland is one of the largest and most influential electronic music festivals in the world, annually bringing together hundreds of thousands of fans in the Belgian town of Boom. Following its large-scale 20th anniversary celebration in 2024, the festival is preparing to open a new conceptual era in 2025, while maintaining its status as a global benchmark of festival culture.
Tomorrowland Belgium 2025
Tomorrowland 2025 will take place over two weekends:
-
July 18–20, 2025
-
July 25–27, 2025
The festival is expected to welcome around 400,000 guests from more than 200 countries, reaffirming its reputation as one of the most international music events in the world.
Theme of 2025 — Orbyz
The new festival concept is titled Orbyz. It transports visitors into a fantastical icy universe, where an ancient hidden civilization rises to the surface after a long period of confinement. The central symbols of the Orbyz world will be powerful red crystals and massive rock formations, shaping the visual and emotional foundation of the festival.
It is important to understand that a Tomorrowland theme is more than just stage decoration. It represents a cohesive narrative that influences the main stage design, visual direction, color palette, symbolism, and the overall perception of the festival. This approach is what has made Tomorrowland a truly unique phenomenon, where music and storytelling exist as a unified whole.
Scale and Format
Tomorrowland has long transcended the boundaries of a conventional music festival. In 2025, it will once again present a multi-layered ecosystem of stages, where different electronic music styles coexist simultaneously — from mainstream EDM and progressive house to techno, trance, hard dance, and psy-oriented genres.
This format allows each visitor to create a personalized festival journey without losing connection to the overall concept and atmosphere of the event.
Tomorrowland Winter 2025
In addition to the summer edition, Tomorrowland will once again host its winter version:
-
March 15–22, 2025
-
Alpe d’Huez, France
Tomorrowland Winter is a distinct format that combines electronic music, a ski resort, and a week-long festival experience. Daytime sets take place high in the mountains, while evening performances are held on both indoor and outdoor stages throughout the resort.
The winter edition is designed for full immersion, where accommodation, music, nature, and nightlife merge into a single continuous experience.
Tickets and Preparation
Registration and ticket sales traditionally take place in stages and waves. Due to extremely high demand, a significant portion of tickets sells out in advance, so future attendees are advised to prepare early for registration and travel planning.
Why Tomorrowland Remains the Gold Standard
Tomorrowland is not just a festival, but a cultural brand with its own mythology, visual language, and global community. It sets the standards for the entire festival industry by seamlessly combining music, technology, and emotional experience.
In 2025, Tomorrowland will continue to develop its signature approach, where every element — from the stage design to the annual theme — contributes to a sense of unity, freedom, and a truly global musical celebration.
Tomorrowland 2025 promises to become a new milestone in the festival’s history and one of the most important music events of the year.
