B Jones’ family and team have launched a fundraiser to support the DJ’s recovery after lymphoma treatment, chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
The family, friends and team of Spanish DJ and producer B Jones (Beatriz Martínez) have launched a crowdfunding campaign to help the artist through the next stage of her recovery after intensive lymphoma treatment. The GoFundMe goal is €40,000. At the time of publication, around half of that amount had already been raised. The organizers emphasize that all donations are intended directly for Beatriz and will be used for medical expenses and rehabilitation.
B Jones’s illness began in late 2025 with severe back pain and a lengthy series of medical examinations. In January 2026, the artist said that doctors had found a tumor near her spinal cord. The growth was initially believed to be benign, but a subsequent biopsy showed that it was an aggressive lymphoma. On January 18, Beatriz publicly announced her diagnosis and suspended performances in order to focus on treatment.
Several months of intensive therapy followed. According to the campaign organizers, B Jones underwent four courses of chemotherapy. The treatment was effective, but it also took a serious toll on her body, causing severe complications involving her hip joint and mobility.
At the same time, B Jones hardly stepped away from music. During treatment, she entered one of the most personal periods of her discography. In January, Glow Up was released, followed on March 6 by Side Effects, written during her first course of chemotherapy. In the track, Beatriz addressed the physical and emotional consequences of treatment directly, turning what she was going through into material for her music. These recordings later became part of the broader VIDA project, which also included Stronger and Universe [Trust The Plan].
While still in hospital, B Jones set herself a specific goal — to return to the Tomorrowland Mainstage on July 19, 2026, where her performance had been scheduled before her illness. A few days before the festival, doctors told the artist that no signs of cancer were detected. She decided not to cancel the performance.
B Jones entered the Tomorrowland stage in Boom, Belgium, in a wheelchair. At one point during the set, she stood up and, together with her twin sister Elena, performed Resistiré — their joint version of the well-known Spanish song, released two days earlier. For the artist, it was less a conventional festival comeback than a promise to herself fulfilled after months of treatment.
However, the Tomorrowland performance did not mean that treatment was over. After the festival, Beatriz returned to hospital and underwent a bone marrow transplant. Recovery from the transplant and from the complications of therapy is now the main priority. The organizers stress that the absence of detectable cancer does not mean complete physical recovery: the effects of treatment and transplantation will require many more months of rehabilitation.
According to those close to her, B Jones still suffers from severe pain and moves primarily in a wheelchair. She is expected to undergo hip surgery with a prosthetic implant, followed by a lengthy course of physiotherapy. Funds are also needed for medication, medical care, recovery after the transplant and psychological support.
The fundraiser was created by Beatriz’s longtime friends — Laura, Ruslan and Ksenia — together with her family and the B Jones team, and with the artist’s own consent. The campaign page states separately that 100% of the money raised is intended directly for her. The target is set at €40,000; by September 13, donations were approaching €20,000.
For B Jones, 2026 effectively divided her career into two parallel stories. On one side were lymphoma, hospital stays, chemotherapy, transplantation and another operation still ahead. On the other were Side Effects, Stronger, Universe, Resistiré and a return to one of the biggest stages in electronic music. Now the focus is no longer on returning to the DJ booth at any cost, but on a longer and less visible stage — restoring her health and regaining the ability to walk normally and live outside a hospital routine.
