Talay Riley, songwriter for Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, Khalid and H.E.R., has been killed in London. The musician was found with stab wounds in Silvertown.
According to London’s Metropolitan Police, emergency services received a report of a stabbing in the Pankhurst Avenue area of Silvertown on the morning of June 5. Police officers and paramedics who arrived at the scene found a 35-year-old man with stab wounds in the garden of a property on nearby Rayleigh Road.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the musician could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was also injured during the incident. He was taken to hospital with stab wounds, although police said his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
As part of the investigation, three suspects were arrested: two men aged 27 and 24, as well as a 25-year-old woman. The 24-year-old man and the woman were later released with no further action, while the 27-year-old man was released on bail pending further inquiries.
