Группа «Митра» — это школьно институтский молодёжный коллектив из Ленинграда второй половины 1980 х. Именно они стали первой музыкальной площадкой для Александра Васильева, будущего лидера группы «Сплин». Участники группы записывали песни дома — именно эти ранние наработки впоследствии легли в основу дебютного альбома «Пыльная быль» группы «Сплин».
