Artur Pirozhkov is the stage and musical persona of Alexander Vladimirovich Revva (born September 10, 1974, in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR), a comedian, actor, television host, producer and singer. Revva became famous through KVN and Comedy Club, while Artur Pirozhkov gradually evolved from a comedy character into a separate musical project. His repertoire belongs mainly to pop music and dance-pop. His best-known songs include «Плачь, детка!», «#КАКЧЕЛЕНТАНО», «Чика», «Зацепила», «#Алкоголичка», «Она решила сдаться», «#ПеретанцуйМеня» and «Хочешь».
Childhood and education of Alexander Revva
Alexander Revva was born and raised in Donetsk. After school, he received a higher education in economics, graduating from the Faculty of Economics of the Donetsk State Academy of Management. He had no professional acting or musical education.
His interest in performing emerged while participating in KVN. Comedy performances gradually became Revva’s main activity and determined the further development of his career.
KVN and «Утомлённые солнцем»
Alexander Revva began playing KVN in 1995. Until 1999, he performed with the Donetsk team, and in 2000 joined the Sochi-based team «Утомлённые солнцем». One of its key members and captain was Mikhail Galustyan.
Revva specialised in acting sketches and strongly defined characters. In 2003, «Утомлённые солнцем» became champions of the KVN Premier League. The team also repeatedly participated in festivals and special projects organised by the Club of the Funny and Inventive.
His work in KVN shaped Revva’s characteristic approach: instead of performing exclusively as himself, he created separate stage personas with recognisable speech, body language and behaviour. He later used this method in Comedy Club, cinema and the Artur Pirozhkov musical project.
Comedy Club
From 2006, Alexander Revva became a resident of Comedy Club on TNT. He performed solo sketches and appeared in collaborative numbers with other residents of the show.
At Comedy Club, Revva continued creating comedy characters. One of them was Artur Pirozhkov — an overconfident man convinced of his own attractiveness and presented as a parody of the stereotypical macho figure.
Creation of Artur Pirozhkov
The Artur Pirozhkov persona originated as a comedic observation of men who pay excessive attention to their appearance, physical shape and the impression they make on women. Revva turned this type into a deliberately narcissistic character for whom self-admiration is a natural part of everyday behaviour.
The character developed his own manner of speaking, visual identity and musical numbers. Gradually, the songs stopped being merely part of comedy performances and began to be released as independent recordings.
Beginning of the musical career
The musical history of Artur Pirozhkov began in the late 2000s. One of the project’s first songs was «Пэрэдайс». Russian Radio associates this track with the beginning of the character’s notable music career. Later, «Плачь, детка!», released in 2011, received widespread radio airplay.
In the early songs, music and comedy were almost inseparable. Pirozhkov sang about love, women, his own appearance and success while remaining fully inside the original stage character.
In 2013, the song «Я звезда!» was released, and the following year Artur Pirozhkov recorded «Luna» with Vera Brezhneva.
Album «Любовь»
On April 14, 2015, Artur Pirozhkov released his debut studio album «Любовь». It contained 14 tracks, including «Пэрэдайс», «Плачь, детка!», «Красивая песня», «Я не умею танцевать», «Любовь», «Я звезда!», the Vera Brezhneva collaboration «Luna» and several dance versions of previously released songs.
The album collected material from the project’s early years and established Artur Pirozhkov as a separate musical name. After that, new songs began to be released regularly outside Comedy Club and other television programmes.
«#КАКЧЕЛЕНТАНО»
In 2016, the song «#КАКЧЕЛЕНТАНО» was released. It continued the theme of exaggerated male self-confidence on which the Pirozhkov character had originally been built. The title refers to Adriano Celentano, but the track is an original song rather than a cover of a work by the Italian performer.
«Либо любовь» followed in 2017, while «Чика» appeared in 2018. By then, the project’s sound had moved closer to contemporary dance-pop, while the comedy element was increasingly concentrated in the lyrics and music videos.
«Зацепила»
One of the most successful periods in Artur Pirozhkov’s music career came in 2019. In March, he released «Зацепила», which became one of his biggest hits.
The song received extensive radio airplay, while its music video attracted a multimillion audience. «Зацепила» remains one of Artur Pirozhkov’s most popular tracks on digital music services.
In the video, Pirozhkov appeared in a parodic fairy-tale setting. This approach became characteristic of the project’s videography: a fully produced pop song was accompanied by a separate comedy story that preserved the character’s original identity.
«#Алкоголичка»
In the same 2019, «#Алкоголичка» was released. Together with «Зацепила», it became one of Pirozhkov’s best-known recordings of that period. Mikhail Galustyan, with whom Revva had performed years earlier as part of «Утомлённые солнцем», appeared in the music video.
Also in 2019, Pirozhkov released «Она решила сдаться» and the DONI collaboration «Моя богиня».
«Всё о любви»
On February 14, 2020, Artur Pirozhkov released his second studio album «Всё о любви» through Warner Music Russia. The album consists of 12 tracks and includes «Она решила сдаться», «Летим со мной», «Чужая», «Кукла», «Музыки не слышно», «Люби меня», «Запутался» and other songs.
Unlike the early repertoire, part of the album was no longer built directly around a parody of the narcissistic macho character. Pirozhkov retained his stage persona, but the music increasingly became capable of functioning independently from its comedy context.
In 2020, «#ПеретанцуйМеня» and «#туДЫМ-сюДЫМ» were also released. Both songs became part of the artist’s core digital catalogue.
«Хочешь» and singles of the early 2020s
In 2021, Artur Pirozhkov released «Летом на фиесте» and other new songs. During the same period, he recorded «Хочешь» with Klava Koka, which later became one of Pirozhkov’s most popular tracks on Apple Music.
In the early 2020s, the project continued to develop mainly through individual singles, music videos and concert performances, without tying every new phase to the release of a full-length album.
«Это игра»
The third studio album, «Это игра», was released on November 8, 2024. It contains nine tracks: «Alarm», «Делай всё», «Мёд» with Khabib, «Охота», «Хорош», «Горько», «Тёплое море», «Она одна» and «Анжелика».
The album continued the dance-pop direction of the previous years. The comic Artur Pirozhkov persona remained most visible in the performer’s presentation and music videos, while the musical side of the project had firmly established itself within contemporary pop.
Releases of 2025–2026
After the release of «Это игра», Artur Pirozhkov continued issuing new singles. In 2025, he released «Само Собой», «Я твой мужчина», «Женщина-магнит» and «Чат ДжиПиТи».
In 2026, the singles «Похудеем позже», «Самый красивый», «Она не такая», «Малиновое диско» and «Смотрю на красоту» were released. The latter came out on August 14, 2026.
Musical style
Artur Pirozhkov’s repertoire is based primarily on dance-pop. His early work contains elements of disco and parody-oriented variety music, while later releases moved toward electropop, pop-house and contemporary club production. Apple Music also characterises the development of the project as a transition from parody disco-soul to pop-house and electropop.
Pirozhkov’s songs are created with different songwriters and producers, so their musical style changes from release to release. The constant element is the character himself — a self-confident man for whom love, attractiveness, dancing and relationships remain the central themes.
At the same time, Artur Pirozhkov has long since moved beyond purely humorous songs. His catalogue includes both openly comedic tracks and lyrical pop in which the original parody element is barely used.
Music videos
Music videos are an important part of the Artur Pirozhkov project. Thanks to Alexander Revva’s acting experience, many of them are structured as independent comedy stories rather than simply filmed performances of songs.

«Золотой граммофон»
Artur Pirozhkov’s songs have repeatedly received the «Золотой граммофон» award. In particular, in 2020 he received two awards — for «Перетанцуй меня» and «Она решила сдаться». Artur Pirozhkov is also included in the Russian Radio Hall of Fame.
Alexander Revva in cinema
Alongside the musical project, Alexander Revva developed a film career. One of his most notable works was «Дублёр», in which he played several characters. He later appeared in «Лёгок на помине», «Смешанные чувства», «Ставка на любовь», «Суперплохие», «Яна+Янко» and other comedies.
A special place in his filmography belongs to «Бабушка лёгкого поведения», released in 2017. Revva played the conman Sanya Rubinstein, who is forced to hide while disguised as an elderly woman. The film received sequels, and Revva participated in developing the project not only as an actor but also as a producer.
Voice acting
Alexander Revva has also worked in Russian dubbing of animated films. His projects include «Хортон», «Монстры против пришельцев», «Гномео и Джульетта», «ЛЕГО Фильм», «Angry Birds в кино», «Лего Фильм: Бэтмен» and «Angry Birds 2 в кино».
Television
Comedy Club remains Alexander Revva’s main television project. In addition, he has appeared in entertainment and music programmes, hosted individual shows and served as a judge on television competitions.
His television work has developed in parallel with cinema and music for many years, so Revva’s public career effectively contains two names: Alexander Revva as actor and television host, and Artur Pirozhkov as his musical stage persona.
Personal life
Alexander Revva is married to Angelika Revva. They met in Sochi and officially married in 2007. The couple have two daughters, Alisa and Amelie.
Revva has also used his wife’s name in his music: the song «Анжелика» was included on the 2024 album «Это игра».

Artur Pirozhkov as a musical project
Artur Pirozhkov began as one of Alexander Revva’s comedy characters but became the only one of his stage personas to develop a long-running independent musical career. The first performances were based on a parody of a narcissistic macho figure, but after the release of original songs the character gradually developed into a full-fledged pop performer.
The comedy foundation remained present in Pirozhkov’s videos, behaviour and visual image, while the music evolved from parody numbers into professionally produced dance-pop.
