SAGI is Russian electronic musician and sound producer Daniil Musagitov. His work lies at the intersection of dance, house and atmospheric electronic music. His sound is built around measured dance rhythms, deep bass, melodic synthesizer parts and spacious electronic textures.
SAGI’s discography consists primarily of singles and collaborations. Notable tracks from the project include Trip, Endless Love, AZURO, Imagine Me, Hold Me Closer, Spirit Soar, Atlantis, Nebula and Breeze. A significant part of his mid-2020s releases is connected with the W.J.Rec label; some recordings were distributed with the participation of «Студия СОЮЗ».
The most intensive phase of SAGI’s studio activity began in 2024. Over the following two years, the musician’s catalog expanded with dozens of solo and collaborative tracks covering several areas of contemporary electronic music.
Daniil Musagitov and the SAGI project
Behind the stage name SAGI is Daniil Musagitov. On music services, he is presented as a multi-genre sound producer, while the credits of his own releases regularly list him as a composer, songwriter and producer.
Detailed biographical information about the musician — his date and place of birth, education, first steps in music and projects that preceded SAGI — is limited in open sources. The documented history of the project is primarily connected with its digital discography.
Trip and the beginning of the discography
One of SAGI’s early works in the current digital catalog is Trip, released on May 21, 2021. Daniil Musagitov is credited as the track’s songwriter and producer.
Trip already contains elements characteristic of SAGI’s later work: a compact structure, electronic rhythmic patterns and an emphasis on atmosphere rather than on a traditional pop format with clearly separated verses and choruses.
Return to active releases in 2024
A significant expansion of the discography began in 2024. During this period, SAGI started releasing new music regularly and collaborating with other electronic producers.
On October 12, 2024, the single SUPRA, recorded together with VRTEI, was released. Daniil Musagitov and Artyom Misnik are credited as composers. Alongside the main recording, a slowed-down version titled SUPRA (SLOWED) was also presented.
Alternative edits — slowed, remix and other versions of original tracks — later appeared repeatedly within the part of the electronic scene associated with SAGI’s catalog.
Endless Love
On December 20, 2024, the single Endless Love was released. The track represents the melodic side of SAGI’s music: a moderate tempo is combined with a repetitive rhythmic pattern and a pronounced emotional melody.
Daniil Musagitov is credited as the author of Endless Love in the digital credits.
REPRODUCTION
Another release from late 2024 was REPRODUCTION, issued on December 27 via W.J.Rec / «Студия СОЮЗ».
The track runs at around 100 BPM. This tempo range would later appear repeatedly in SAGI’s recordings and became characteristic of the more measured side of his dance material.
Mirages
On January 24, 2025, SAGI presented the single Mirages. The track belongs to electronic music, while Daniil Musagitov is credited as the author and a participant in the studio work.
Mirages is built around a steady rhythmic foundation and an atmospheric melody — a combination that appears regularly in the musician’s subsequent releases.
AZURO
On January 31, 2025, the track AZURO was released, becoming one of the notable works in SAGI’s catalog.
The single was released through W.J.Rec / «Студия СОЮЗ». The recording runs for 3 minutes 23 seconds and has a tempo of around 104 BPM.
AZURO is built around a mid-tempo electronic groove, a deep bassline and a recurring melodic pattern. The arrangement develops gradually, without abrupt transitions into the massive drop typical of festival EDM.
AZURO was not SAGI’s debut recording: by the time of its release, the project’s catalog already included Trip and several works from 2024.
GOLDBOY
On February 14, 2025, two weeks after AZURO, the single GOLDBOY was released.
The release continued SAGI’s series of works on W.J.Rec / «Студия СОЮЗ» and became part of a period when the intervals between new tracks noticeably shortened.
NOTHING TO LOSE
On March 21, 2025, the discography was expanded with the track NOTHING TO LOSE.
Daniil Musagitov is credited as the author of the music and lyrics. The release is also connected with W.J.Rec and «Студия СОЮЗ».
Imagine Me
Imagine Me was released on April 25, 2025.
This work differs from many of SAGI’s solo recordings in terms of its writing credits. Dmitry Silin and Artyom Berezhnoy are credited as authors of the track, while Roman Kopylov served as producer.
Imagine Me reflects one of the features of the project’s discography: alongside works written entirely by Musagitov, there are also compositions created with the participation of other songwriters and producers.
Anaesthetic with FRXSTBURN
On May 16, 2025, SAGI and electronic project FRXSTBURN released the collaborative single Anaesthetic on W.J.Rec.
Daniil Musagitov and Artyom Berezhnoy are listed in the songwriting credits, while SAGI and FRXSTBURN are presented as the main artists.
Collaborative recordings gradually became a notable part of SAGI’s discography and expanded the circle of electronic musicians with whom the project works.
I Am Found You
On May 23, 2025, the single I Am Found You was released.
On this track, Daniil Musagitov once again combines songwriting and production, acting not only as the performer but also as the creator of the recording’s musical foundation.
VOLUME
The next single, VOLUME, appeared on May 30, 2025.
The track runs for less than three minutes. Musagitov is credited as composer and songwriter.
Short running times are characteristic of a significant portion of SAGI’s mid-2020s material: most recordings are created as standalone digital singles lasting around three minutes.
Spirit Soar
On June 6, 2025, the track Spirit Soar was released. Musagitov is credited as performer, songwriter and producer.
At around 104 BPM, the recording combines a steady dance pulse with melodic synthesizer layers and spacious electronic processing.
Affectation
Affectation was released on June 27, 2025.
Daniil Musagitov wrote and produced the track. A tempo of around 101 BPM continued the mid-tempo direction of his catalog, which differs noticeably from faster festival EDM.
Intoxicating Love and Hold Me Closer
The series of releases continued during the summer of 2025. Intoxicating Love, written and produced by Musagitov, was released on August 15.
The single Hold Me Closer followed on August 22. The track is built around a relatively slow tempo for dance music — around 93 BPM — while retaining a pronounced electronic rhythm.
Hold Me Closer reinforced the melodic, mid-tempo direction within SAGI’s discography.
Other works from 2025
2025 became one of the most intensive periods in the project’s studio history. In addition to the main singles, SAGI released Atlantis, Keep Believing, Love Elixir, CLOSING EYES, SILHOUETTE, HOPE AND BELIEVE, Can't You See and Like Me.
A significant portion of the musician’s current catalog took shape during this period. At the same time, collaboration with other electronic projects connected with W.J.Rec expanded.
Releases in 2026
In 2026, SAGI maintained a high level of studio activity. Digital catalogs added Deep Sigh, Nephritis, Neon Shadows, Santorini, Abu Dhabi, Leave, Off Air, Nebula, No Rules, Oblivion, Cycles of Love, Dopamine, Platinum, Pulse, Gravity, Infinity, I'm Okay and Paparazzi.
The catalog from this period reflects SAGI’s working model as a production-oriented project focused primarily on the consistent release of standalone tracks rather than traditional multi-year album cycles.
Nebula
On February 27, 2026, the single Nebula was released on W.J.Rec.
Daniil Musagitov is credited as the track’s songwriter and producer. At around 95 BPM, the composition belongs to the calmer side of his electronic discography.
Breeze
On August 14, 2026, SAGI released Breeze — one of the later works in the project’s current discography. The 3-minute-15-second single was released on W.J.Rec.
The track belongs to the period of high studio activity that began for the musician in the mid-2020s.
SAGI’s musical style
SAGI does not adhere to a single narrow electronic genre. Different works from the project fall under Electronic and Dance, while the arrangements also contain elements of house, deep house and melodic atmospheric electronic music.
SAGI’s sound is characterized by:
- moderate dance rhythms;
- deep bass parts;
- atmospheric synthesizer layers;
- repeating melodic figures;
- spatial effects;
- vocal samples and minimalist vocal parts;
- mid-range and relatively low tempos for club-oriented electronic music.
In many tracks, development is built not around a sudden drop, but through gradual changes in melody, rhythmic patterns and arrangement density. This structure is especially noticeable in AZURO, Spirit Soar, Hold Me Closer and Nebula.
Dance, house and atmospheric electronic music
Descriptions of SAGI sometimes mention trance and progressive, but the project’s entire catalog does not belong to these genres. Most digital releases are labeled as Electronic or Dance, while the tempo of several characteristic tracks falls roughly between 90 and 110 BPM.
This range is closer to mid-tempo dance and house music than to classic trance. The balance of genre elements changes from one recording to another: some works are oriented toward a club groove, while others focus more strongly on atmosphere and melody.
W.J.Rec
A significant part of SAGI’s current discography is connected with the W.J.Rec label.
It released Daniil Musagitov’s solo singles as well as collaborative recordings with other electronic artists. A number of releases were distributed jointly with «Студия СОЮЗ».
Among the musicians appearing in SAGI’s collaborations and in works connected with the W.J.Rec catalog are VRTEI, FRXSTBURN and PLVTINA.
Collaborations
Collaborations have become a distinct part of SAGI’s discography. These recordings include:
- SUPRA — with VRTEI;
- Anaesthetic — with FRXSTBURN;
- Can't You See — with PLVTINA;
- Deep Sigh — with PLVTINA;
- Santorini — a joint release by SAGI and W.J.Rec.
Across collaborative works, the sound ranges from darker electronic aesthetics to melodic and relaxed dance music.

SAGI in contemporary electronic music
SAGI’s discography reflects a model of the electronic scene in which regular digital singles have become the primary format. Daniil Musagitov combines independent songwriting with collaborations and releases music without being rigidly tied to a single genre.
After the early Trip, the pace of work increased significantly in 2024, while in 2025–2026 the catalog expanded by several dozen recordings. AZURO, Imagine Me, Spirit Soar, Hold Me Closer, Atlantis and other tracks represent different sides of the project — from mid-tempo dance to more atmospheric electronic music.
SAGI’s musical signature is built around a combination of dance pulse, melodic synthesizer lines and spacious electronic processing. This approach remains the connecting element throughout Daniil Musagitov’s discography as he moves between house, dance and other areas of contemporary electronic music.
