Keinemusik is a Berlin-based music collective, independent record label and creative platform founded in 2009. The core of the project consists of DJs and producers Rampa, &ME, Adam Port and Reznik, although as a collaborative production and live project under the Keinemusik name, it most often appears as the trio of Rampa, &ME and Adam Port.
Keinemusik’s music grew out of Berlin’s house and techno scene, gradually incorporating elements of deep house, afro house, melodic house, soul, African rhythms and other styles. The project is known for long DJ sets, a strong focus on groove and percussion, vocal elements and gradual musical development rather than the short build-ups and large drops typical of festival EDM.
Formation of Keinemusik
Keinemusik was founded in Berlin in 2009 as a collective of friends, DJs, producers and visual artists who wanted to release music independently and retain control over its artwork, promotion and related events.
The official website describes Keinemusik primarily as a network — a network centred around a record label. The original project included not only Rampa, &ME, Adam Port and Reznik, but also David Mayer and artist Monja Gentschow. David Mayer and Gentschow later ceased to be part of the core line-up.
The name Keinemusik literally translates from German as “no music” or “not music”. The members have said that it came from a reaction by Rampa’s mother, who once described her son’s electronic music with the words Das ist keine Musik — “this is not music”. The ironic phrase later became the name of the entire project.
Members
Rampa
Rampa is the stage name of German producer Gregor Sütterlin. He is one of the founders of Keinemusik and one of the collective’s principal production figures. In addition to his solo releases and collaborative work with &ME and Adam Port, Rampa has released music on Innervisions, Diynamic, Afterlife, Cocoon, Kompakt, Defected and other electronic labels.
Another area of his work is TEILE — a project focused on creating analogue effects and equipment for DJs and musicians.
&ME
&ME is the stage name of André Boadu, a Berlin-based DJ and producer working at the intersection of house and techno. He is a co-founder of Keinemusik and one of the three musicians responsible for the project’s principal collaborative albums and live performances.
His solo discography includes works such as F.I.R., One Day, After Dark, The Rapture Pt. II, and later a collaboration with Black Coffee on The Rapture Pt. III.
Adam Port
Adam Port is the stage name of Adam Polaszek, a Berlin-based DJ and producer. His musical interests were shaped not only by house and techno: his artist profile on Keinemusik also cites influences from dub, dancehall, rap, soul and psychedelic rock.
Adam Port became the central figure in Keinemusik’s biggest commercial breakthrough in 2024 thanks to the single Move.
Reznik
Reznik has been one of the four core members of Keinemusik since the project was founded. Unlike Rampa, &ME and Adam Port, his role has historically been more closely associated with DJing than with the collective’s studio work.
For several years, Reznik was also involved in managing the Keinemusik label. He later developed a collaborative project with Good Guy Mikesh and continued releasing his own music and remixes.
For this reason, it is more accurate to distinguish between Keinemusik as a four-member collective and Keinemusik as the live and production trio of Rampa, &ME and Adam Port.
Early releases and development of the label
The first Keinemusik releases appeared in 2009. The catalogue was built around music by members of the collective, including David Mayer, &ME, Rampa, Adam Port and other artists associated with the project.
The early recordings reflected Berlin’s club environment of the late 2000s and early 2010s — house, tech house and techno with an emphasis on groove, minimalist structures and the individual approach of each producer.
Over the following years, Keinemusik built a regular catalogue and developed its own Workparty series, in which members combined their material in collaborative releases. In 2019, the project’s tenth anniversary was marked by the EP Hand in Hand.
You Are Safe
In 2017, Rampa, &ME and Adam Port released their first collaborative full-length album, You Are Safe.
It was the first album released directly under the collective Keinemusik concept rather than as a solo release by one of its members.

Vocals were provided by Chiara Noriko, Jennifer Touch and Nomi Ruiz. The album significantly expanded beyond the framework of a conventional club EP: alongside dance tracks, it incorporated R&B, wave, downtempo and more experimental elements.
One of the album’s most recognisable tracks was Muyè, which later received a remix from Black Coffee.
Visual identity
From the beginning, Keinemusik placed an unusually strong emphasis on visual presentation for an electronic music label.
Berlin artist Monja Gentschow played an important role in shaping this direction, working for many years on cover artwork, posters and the project’s overall visual system. In early official materials, she was presented as a full member of Keinemusik alongside the musicians.
In the current structure of the official website, Gentschow is now listed as a former member. In 2023, Itohan joined Keinemusik’s visual team, working with video editing, collage, analogue imagery and digital graphics.
Keinemusik’s visual identity therefore cannot be attributed to a single permanent art director, but has evolved together with the collective itself.
Send Return
In 2021, Rampa, &ME and Adam Port released their second collaborative album, Send Return.
While You Are Safe established the foundation of Keinemusik’s collective studio identity, Send Return was considerably broader in terms of guest vocalists and musical directions.

Across the album, house sits alongside R&B, neo-disco, pop and slower electronic forms.
GTA Online
At the end of 2020, Keinemusik appeared in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Cayo Perico Heist update.
In the game, the collective became one of the virtual resident acts at The Music Locker, alongside Moodymann and Palms Trax. The musicians appeared in the game world as themselves and became part of the storyline connected to Cayo Perico.
For Keinemusik, this represented an important step beyond the traditional club audience.
Work with Drake
In 2022, Keinemusik’s influence also became visible within the global pop industry.
Rampa and &ME contributed to Drake’s album Honestly, Nevermind. Their production work was used on the tracks Falling Back and A Keeper.
The album was built primarily around house and dance influences and topped the Billboard 200. The involvement of Rampa and &ME, alongside Black Coffee and other house producers, became one of the most notable examples of contemporary club-oriented electronic music entering the American pop and hip-hop mainstream in the early 2020s.
Kloud
During the first half of the 2020s, one of Keinemusik’s main visual symbols became Kloud — a stylised cloud with a peace symbol inside it.
The members explained that Kloud was intended to bring the atmosphere of their music directly into the physical space of the show. The first large moving stage constructions of this kind appeared at their performances in New York, after which the concept became a permanent part of Keinemusik’s live identity.
Over time, Kloud evolved from a stage decoration into the name of a major international series of Keinemusik events.
Thandaza
In 2024, Rampa, &ME and Adam Port released Thandaza together with Alan Dixon and South African musician Arabic Piano.
Keinemusik officially presented the release as a work by the live line-up of the project — Rampa, &ME and Adam Port. The track strengthened the African and vocal direction of the collective’s contemporary sound.
Move and the international commercial breakthrough
One of the biggest events in Keinemusik’s history was the single Move, released by Adam Port and Stryv with vocals from Malachiii and with the participation of Keinemusik.
Before its official release, the track had been played in the collective’s sets for a long time and circulated across social media as an unidentified ID. It was officially released in June 2024 through Keinemusik.
Move reached far beyond the electronic club audience. On the main UK Official Singles Chart, the track reached No. 10 and remained on the chart for 31 weeks.
The track was also nominated at the Billboard Music Awards 2024 in the category Top Afrobeats Song.
A version featuring Camila Cabello was released later.
Move became an important turning point in Keinemusik’s transformation from a respected club project into a recognisable name in global mainstream electronic culture.
Say What
At the end of 2024, Keinemusik released Say What with vocals from chuala.
The track had first appeared in their sets long before its official release and circulated among fans for an extended period through live recordings, bootlegs and supposed IDs.
This model became characteristic of Keinemusik’s contemporary working process: new tracks may exist inside DJ sets for months before receiving an official release.
2025: Coachella and new releases
In 2025, Keinemusik performed at Coachella, where the collective was given an evening slot on the Sahara Stage.
The same year also brought new collective releases.
Crazy for It originated from studio work between Rampa and Boys Noize and was completed within Keinemusik with vocalist Vinson. The track was premiered live at Coachella.
Another notable release was See You Again with Sevdaliza. The song also initially existed as a live ID and was first presented at Coachella.
On 23 August 2025, Keinemusik staged a major home open-air performance at the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.
Current stage
By the mid-2020s, Keinemusik had fully evolved from a traditional club-label model into a broader international project.
Rampa, &ME and Adam Port perform both together under the Keinemusik/Kloud brand and individually. Reznik continues his independent DJ activity and remains part of the core collective.
At the same time, the label, radio, visual division, its own booking structure Worldwide Dancing Club, and the Rampa-associated music equipment manufacturer TEILE continue to operate. Keinemusik’s booking division was established in 2018.
In 2026, the international Kloud series continues to develop: Keinemusik’s current schedule includes joint events in Ibiza, Milan and other cities, alongside solo performances by Rampa, &ME, Adam Port and Reznik.
Musical style
Keinemusik cannot be accurately defined by a single contemporary genre tag.
The project’s foundation remains house and techno, which also corresponds with the collective’s own description.
African and percussion-driven influences became particularly prominent during the 2020s, but describing Keinemusik exclusively as an afro-house project would also be an oversimplification. Its early catalogue was established long before the modern popularity of that genre label.
The main unifying element is not a specific genre, but rather the approach to rhythm: extended grooves, detailed percussion, relatively restrained arrangements, recurring vocal and melodic motifs, and gradual track development.
DJ sets
Keinemusik’s live format is largely built around extended collaborative sets.
Rampa, &ME and Adam Port rotate behind the decks, allowing the programme to combine the individual musical preferences of each member. Historically, the back-to-back approach has been part of Keinemusik almost since the collective was formed.
The sets may include house, afro house, techno, older disco and pop tracks, their own unreleased IDs, special edits and material that the members never officially release.

Keinemusik began as a small independent Berlin collective in which music, DJing, design and party organisation existed as parts of a single project.
Throughout the 2010s, the collective gradually built its own system: a label, regular releases, collaborative albums, international label nights and a distinctive visual aesthetic. You Are Safe and Send Return established Keinemusik as a fully realised collaborative studio project.
During the 2020s, its audience expanded dramatically through GTA Online, Rampa and &ME’s work with Drake, the development of Kloud, major international performances and the success of Move. At the same time, Keinemusik retained its independent label and a model in which the solo projects of Rampa, &ME, Adam Port and Reznik coexist with the collective’s shared identity.
It is precisely this combination of its own musical infrastructure, recognisable visual system, extended DJ sets and evolution from Berlin’s house and techno environment to the global stage that defines Keinemusik’s place in electronic music of the 2010s and 2020s.
