DOROFEEVA (real name — Nadiia Volodymyrivna Dorofeieva; born April 21, 1990, in Simferopol) — is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter and television personality. She first gained widespread recognition as a member of the pop group «Vremya i Steklo», where she performed alongside Oleksii Zavhorodnii (POSITIFF) from 2010 to 2020. After the group ended, she launched a solo career under the name DOROFEEVA.
Among her best-known works from different periods are «Имя 505», «Навернопотомучто», «На Стиле», «Тролль» and «Дим» with «Vremya i Steklo», as well as the solo tracks «gorit», «різнокольорова», «Кохаю, але не зовсім», «На самоті», «Хай пишуть», «А я все плакала», «Хартбіт», «FENOMENAL'», «Смак-печаль», «Японія» and «747». DOROFEEVA's solo discography includes the EP dofamin and the albums сенси and HEARTBEAT.
During her solo period, DOROFEEVA became a regular co-writer of her own material. Over the years, she has worked with Potap, MONATIK, Ivan Klymenko, Jerry Heil, Artem Pivovarov, Max Barskih, OTOY, Misha Lebiga, POSITIFF, Misha Katsurin and other Ukrainian musicians and songwriters.
Childhood in Simferopol
Nadia Dorofeieva grew up in Simferopol. From childhood, she studied music and dance, took part in vocal festivals and competed in ballroom dancing.
In 2002, Nadia Dorofeieva won the Grand Prix at the «Southern Express» vocal competition and became Crimea's ballroom dancing champion. Two years later, she won one of the age categories at the «Black Sea Games» festival, after which she joined a Ukrainian creative delegation that performed in the United Kingdom.
From around the age of twelve, Nadia Dorofeieva regularly appeared on stage in Simferopol, performing contemporary versions of Ukrainian songs.
«Chance», M.Ch.S. and the First Solo Recordings
In 2005, fifteen-year-old Nadia Dorofeieva became a finalist on the Ukrainian television project «Chance». At the same age, she moved to Moscow and joined the female pop group M.Ch.S..
Dorofeieva performed with the group for around two years. M.Ch.S. recorded the album «Сети любви» and appeared on Russian television programs, but the project did not achieve major commercial success.
At the same time, Nadia Dorofeieva studied vocal performance by correspondence at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts.
After M.Ch.S., she took part in the project «American Chance». Several selected vocalists traveled to Los Angeles, where there were plans to create a female group called Glam, but the project did not receive a full continuation.
In 2008, Nadia Dorofeieva released the solo album «Маркиза». The record did not gain broad recognition.
The Creation of «Vremya i Steklo»
In 2010, producer and songwriter Oleksii Potapenko (Potap) was looking for a female vocalist for a new MOZGI Entertainment project. After an initial selection and audition, Nadia Dorofeieva became part of the project. The second member was Oleksii Zavhorodnii (POSITIFF).
This was how «Vremya i Steklo» was formed. The first single, «Так выпала Карта», was released in late 2010. It was followed by «Любви Точка Нет», «Серебряное море», «Кафель», «Гармошка», «Слеза» and other songs.
The group's early repertoire combined dance-pop, electronic music and elements of hip-hop. Choreography, music videos and the onstage chemistry between Nadia Dorofeieva and POSITIFF played an important role.
«Имя 505» and the Group's Major Breakthrough
In 2015, «Vremya i Steklo» released «Имя 505». Its minimalist electronic beat, unusual phonetics in the chorus and vivid choreography set the song apart from the group's earlier material.
The music video became one of the most-viewed Ukrainian music videos of its time, while the track won Hit of the Year at the M1 Music Awards.
In the following years, the group released «Песня 404», «Навернопотомучто», «На Стиле», «Тролль», «ТОП», «Е,Бой» and other popular songs.
At the 2016 YUNA Awards, «Vremya i Steklo» won Best Pop Group. The group went on to win the same category in subsequent years.
«Глубоко…» with MONATIK
Even before «Vremya i Steklo» ended, Nadia Dorofeieva began releasing collaborations outside the group. One of the most notable was «Глубоко…» with MONATIK, released in 2018.
The music and lyrics were written by Dmytro Monatik, while the music video was directed by Tanu Muino in the south of France. In 2019, the video won the YUNA Award for Best Music Video.
«Глубоко…» became one of the first major releases in which Nadia Dorofeieva's name was presented separately from «Vremya i Steklo».
VISLOVO, «Дим» and the End of «Vremya i Steklo»
In 2019, «Vremya i Steklo» released their second studio album, VISLOVO. The group's sound incorporated more elements of hip-hop, trap and contemporary electronic pop music.
One of the biggest hits of the group's final period was «Дим». At the 2019 M1 Music Awards, the song won Hit of the Year, and in 2020 it received the YUNA Award for Best Song.
In spring 2020, Nadia Dorofeieva and POSITIFF announced the end of «Vremya i Steklo». The final concert cycle was titled «Последний танец». After ten years of working together, both members continued with independent careers.
The Beginning of the DOROFEEVA Project
On November 19, 2020, the solo project DOROFEEVA was officially introduced together with the debut single «gorit».
DOROFEEVA co-wrote the song with Potap and Volodymyr Kaharlyk. While retaining a dance-pop foundation, the solo project gradually became more closely tied to the singer's own involvement in songwriting.
On March 19, 2021, she released the EP dofamin, which included five tracks:
- «a tebe...»;
- «gorit»;
- «bam bam»;
- «vecherinka»;
- «zavisimost».
DOROFEEVA was credited as a co-writer on all five tracks. She worked on some of the material with Mykhailo Busin and on other songs with Potap.
This period also brought «Почему» and the collaboration «Невеста» with Scriptonite.
«The Voice of the Country» and Television
Alongside the beginning of her solo career, Nadia Dorofeieva became a coach on the adult version of «The Voice of the Country». In season eleven, Serhii Lazanovskyi from her team won the competition.
DOROFEEVA later continued working as a coach on the project. Before that, she had also appeared in children's televised vocal formats.
In 2017, Nadia Dorofeieva competed on «Dancing with the Stars» with Yevhen Kot and reached the final.
Switch to the Ukrainian Language
After the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, DOROFEEVA switched primarily to Ukrainian, while the Russian-language material from earlier years stopped occupying a central place in her new concert programs.
One of the first releases from this period was the Ukrainian version of the song «разноцветная» — «різнокольорова». DOROFEEVA then recorded «Думи» with Artem Pivovarov, based on the poetry of Taras Shevchenko.
In August 2022, she released «крапають», created with the participation of Jerry Heil and Ivan Klymenko.
The Album «сенси»
On September 16, 2022, DOROFEEVA released her first entirely Ukrainian-language album, сенси.
Along with the change of language, the circle of collaborators and the thematic direction of the material also changed. The songs began addressing childhood, memory, emotional states and life during wartime.
The album included «у твоїй душі», «різнокольорова», «крапають», «охололо», the collaboration «Думи» with Artem Pivovarov, and a version of Andrii Kuzmenko's song «люди як кораблі».
One of DOROFEEVA's principal songwriters and producers during this period was Ivan Klymenko. The singer also began working with Iryna Horova's label pomitni.
«Кохаю, але не зовсім» and a New Songwriting Team
In 2023, DOROFEEVA continued working with contemporary Ukrainian pop, electronic music and elements of hip-hop phrasing.
One of the year's main releases was «Кохаю, але не зовсім», written by DOROFEEVA together with Ivan Klymenko and Misha Katsurin.
Misha Katsurin later became one of the singer's regular co-writers and contributed to «На самоті», «Хартбіт» and other songs.
During 2023, DOROFEEVA also released «вотсап», «Ритми» with Max Barskih, «На самоті» and «Хай пишуть».
«А я все плакала»
In spring 2024, DOROFEEVA released «А я все плакала» together with blogger and streamer Misha Lebiga.
The track became one of the notable Ukrainian pop releases of the year, was later included on the album HEARTBEAT, and received YUNA 2025 nominations for Best Song and Best Collaboration.
HEARTBEAT
On September 26, 2024, DOROFEEVA released the album HEARTBEAT, consisting of twelve tracks:

Compared with сенси, the album was more rhythmic and concert-oriented. Its main themes included relationships, attachment, breakups and personal freedom.
First Solo Show at the Palace of Sports
On November 22, 2024, DOROFEEVA performed her first solo arena show at the Palace of Sports in Kyiv. The concert concluded the HEARTBEAT tour.
LEBIGA, OTOY and POSITIFF appeared on stage as guests. Together with POSITIFF, DOROFEEVA performed «Дим».
The charity segment of the concert raised 2.9 million hryvnias in aid for Ukraine. In spring 2025, the HEARTBEAT show at the Palace of Sports was staged again.
FENOMENAL', «Смак-печаль» and the 2025 Releases
After HEARTBEAT, DOROFEEVA focused primarily on standalone singles.
In March 2025, she released «Додайте світла», followed by «FENOMENAL'» on April 24. For the latter, DOROFEEVA once again worked with Potap.
On July 10, DOROFEEVA reunited with POSITIFF in the studio: the former members of «Vremya i Steklo» released a new joint song, «Смак-печаль», this time as independent artists.
In September, DOROFEEVA again recorded with MONATIK. Their collaboration «If you know what I mean» appeared on MONATIK's album Вічно Танцююча Людина.
On November 13, she released the solo song «Японія», created with Misha Katsurin and Ivan Klymenko.
FEEL THE HEAT and «747»
On April 30, 2026, DOROFEEVA released the English-language single «FEEL THE HEAT».
On August 6, she followed it with «747». The music was written by DOROFEEVA, Misha Katsurin and BADWOR7H, while DOROFEEVA co-wrote the lyrics with Misha Katsurin. The music video was directed by Alan Badoev.
The song uses the image of a completed flight as a metaphor for a relationship that has ended. As of September 2026, «747» is the latest standalone single in DOROFEEVA's main catalog.
DOROFEEVA's Musical Style
DOROFEEVA's music career can be divided into several clearly distinct periods. Early «Vremya i Steklo» worked primarily with dance-pop and electronic music. After «Имя 505», the arrangements incorporated more rhythmic minimalism, hip-hop phrasing and experimental pop production.
The EP dofamin retained some of those characteristics but was already built entirely around DOROFEEVA's voice and stage persona.
After 2022, the singer's own involvement in songwriting increased considerably, while Ivan Klymenko, Misha Katsurin and other representatives of the contemporary Ukrainian music scene became regular collaborators.
сенси was more intimate and emotionally focused, while HEARTBEAT restored a stronger dance element and was designed in part for large-scale concert production.
DOROFEEVA's vocal style combines melodic singing with conversational and rhythmic delivery. Choreography has remained an important part of her stage language since the days of «Vremya i Steklo».
Television
Nadia Dorofeieva's television career developed alongside her music career. She has appeared in entertainment and vocal programs and worked as both a presenter and mentor.
In 2017, Nadia Dorofeieva and Yevhen Kot reached the final of «Dancing with the Stars».
In 2021, DOROFEEVA became a coach on the eleventh season of «The Voice of the Country». Serhii Lazanovskyi from her team won the season. DOROFEEVA later returned to the project as a coach.
Charity Work
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, DOROFEEVA has regularly used her concert projects to raise money for charitable causes.
During the сенси tour, part of the proceeds was directed toward rebuilding homes destroyed by the war and supporting Superhumans, a project focused on prosthetics and rehabilitation for Ukrainians injured as a result of the fighting.
Funds were also raised to support the Ukrainian military. During DOROFEEVA's first solo HEARTBEAT show at the Palace of Sports in November 2024, her team raised around 2.9 million hryvnias.
Personal Life
In 2015, Nadia Dorofeieva married Ukrainian singer and television presenter Volodymyr Dantes. In March 2022, the couple announced their separation after more than ten years together. The marriage was later officially dissolved.
In 2022, it became known that Nadia Dorofeieva was in a relationship with Ukrainian restaurateur and musician Misha Katsurin. They married on June 15, 2023.
Misha Katsurin became one of DOROFEEVA's regular creative partners and contributed to the writing of «Кохаю, але не зовсім», «На самоті», «Хартбіт», «Японія», «747» and other songs.

DOROFEEVA's Solo Career
The DOROFEEVA project has developed an independent discography, live repertoire and its own circle of songwriters, while the music of «Vremya i Steklo» remains part of the singer's stage history. Joint performances with POSITIFF and the release of «Смак-печаль» show that the group's period continues to coexist with her solo material rather than being separated from it by an artificial boundary.
One of the main differences of the solo period has been DOROFEEVA's much more active role in songwriting. While the musical direction of «Vremya i Steklo» was largely shaped by Potap's production work, DOROFEEVA regularly appears as a co-writer of both music and lyrics in her solo discography, working alongside Ivan Klymenko, Misha Katsurin and other writers from the contemporary Ukrainian pop scene.
