The collaborative EP Ketamine Girl was released by Akiaura and LONOWN on June 30, 2023, through the virtual memory404 label.

The original digital version contains six tracks with a total running time of approximately 19 minutes:

Sleepwalker

The central track on Ketamine Girl was Sleepwalker, created by Akiaura and LONOWN with music producer STM.

The composition is built around a looped vocal sample embedded within a multilayered electronic arrangement. Akiaura, LONOWN, and STM worked on the track’s musical and production elements. In the official credits, Alik Aura is listed as a composer and producer.

The track is constructed around a repeating synthesizer motif, muted rhythms, and a fragile vocal fragment. Its constant cyclical return creates a sense of emotional numbness, detachment, and gradual immersion in a state resembling a waking dream.

After its release, the composition began spreading through TikTok and user-generated video edits. By September 2023, Chartmetric was already recording tens of millions of streams for the original and slowed versions.

The song entered the US Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and remained there for several months. Billboard also included Akiaura among the artists making their first appearance on the publication’s charts.

The musician himself described Sleepwalker as the work closest to him, emphasizing the uniqueness of its sound and the feelings it evokes.

The Sleepwalker Music Video

The official music video for Sleepwalker was released on September 27, 2023. It was created by the visionpoetry team.

Both digital and analog techniques were used in the processing of the material, including the printing of individual frames, multilayer editing, and work with CRT equipment. This gave the image a deliberately damaged and unstable texture resembling an old video recording or a disintegrating memory.

Visually, the video echoes corecore aesthetics, glitch art, and melancholic internet edits. In this context, corecore should be understood as a social-media trend and meme-based aesthetic rather than a professional music-video technique or a separate musical genre.

Destruction Age

On June 14, 2024, Akiaura and LONOWN released the collaborative album Destruction Age through virtual memory404 and ARCADIA.

The main version contains nine tracks with a total running time of approximately 34 minutes. These include:

The title track was originally released as a standalone single on April 12, 2024. An official slowed version appeared later.

One of the album’s most successful tracks was pussypodium. Its popularity increased further after the release of a slowed version, which became one of Akiaura’s most widely streamed works.

If You Care

If You Care, created by Akiaura and LONOWN with DJ Pointless, became another notable work from the Destruction Age period.

A separate slowed version of the song was released in 2025. Both versions established themselves among the artist’s most popular recordings on streaming services.

The song continues the project’s characteristic theme of emotional distance. Its arrangement, however, is more rhythmic and more heavily focused on a repeating vocal fragment than Sleepwalker.

Fake Everything

On June 13, 2025, Akiaura and LONOWN released the collaborative EP Fake Everything.
